Highland based IT services and support company Alchemy Plus is expanding with the appointment of three more staff, following a string of new client wins.
Alchemy Plus, established in 2006 now employs a team of 12, led by Executive Chairman Peter Swanson and Chief Executive Officer Steve Chisholm.
The three new team members include Management Accountant and Office Manager Emma Atack, a graduate of Inverness College who previously ran her own accountancy practice and is about to complete a Chartered Institute of Management Accountants qualification.
IT Network Engineer Mark Boyle joined Alchemy Plus at the beginning of August. Mark previously worked for companies including Biggart Baillie Solicitors and Smart Modular Technologies. He has a proven track record in support and solutions provision, with a broad knowledge of computer infrastructure.
Lucy Munro, from Redcastle, near Muir of Ord, joins as Administrative Assistant after gaining four Highers at Dingwall Academy.
Alchemy Plus Chief Executive Officer Steve Chisholm said: “I am delighted to welcome Emma, Lucy and Mark to the team. Our growth has come from focusing on customer service and delivering real business value for clients, large and small, in everything we do. Emma, Lucy and Mark share these key business values and I look forward to working closely with them as we continue to grow the business.”
The appointments come as Alchemy Plus celebrates a string of new contract awards, including website design and hosting for Inverness Chamber of Commerce; IT network support, software development and web design and hosting for Highland Hospice; E-mail and network support for financial adviser Campbell & McConnachie; and network support for civil engineering contractor Macdonald Formwork.
Stewart Nicol, Chief Executive of Inverness Chamber of Commerce, said: “Following excellent presentations from those shortlisted for the Chamber’s new website, we are pleased to announce that the contract has been secured by Alchemy Plus. Inverness Chamber looks forward to working with Alchemy Plus in developing this exciting project.”
Steve Chisholm concluded: “With the addition of these new clients we are building our reputation as the Highlands’ leading IT service provider. We take pride in helping local businesses, large or small, make the most of their computer systems, and anyone needing IT help should talk to us.”
